A young grandson in Farmington Hills, MI was able to join his friends playing spring baseball this year with his registration fees fully covered by IAGL
In partnership with OLHSA, It’s a Grand Life was able to provide a kitchen table to a grandfamily in Michigan. The grandmother, Trecia, was very appreciative – The love and peace this table has brought to me and my 4 Grandchildren is unbelievable!!!
When Central Detroit Christian organization called to let us know some grandparents needed help with food and clothing, IAGL jumped in to assist by providing gift cards to Meijer grocery stores.
We assisted a grandfather raising 5 grandchildren in Inkster, MI when they unexpectedly had to relocate to a new home due to a landlord rent error. Unfortunately, their belongs were thrown away so they needed new clothing and household items.
A grandmother in Western Michigan who has placement of her medically fragile grandson was in need of a washer/dryer so we assisted by purchasing a combo unit that would fit in their apartment.
IAGL provided a door prize of towels, soap and laundry detergent at the March Grandparents Parenting Again meeting in Detroit. Pictured is Craig with winner and Ora Wilson, director of GPA.
A grandmother in Texas was laid off from her job and in need of financial assistance as she looked for new employment. IAGL was there to support her by assisting with her water and electric bills in June 2026.
With summer here GAP is having a picnic for all the GRGs. They needed help with food for the event as well as filling their food pantry. IAGL was happy to assist.
Thanks to an It’s a Grand Life, this OLHSA kinship caregiver was able to make minor repairs on her 2000 KIA. Jake’s Automotive in Auburn Hills, MI, provided an honest assessment, and for just a few hundred dollars, this caregiver was safely back on the road.
IAGL partnered with Faithworks to assist a grandmother who is caring for her 35-year-old disabled daughter and her 8-year-old twins. Pictured is Asya with her mother Monica testing out their new wheelchair ramp at home in Detroit, MI.
Debra Suzette Brown of Each One Teach One Together in Atlanta, Georgia needed a freezer to help with food distribution to her members. The freezer along with some food was donated by IAGL!
It's a Grand Life assisted Emanuel Rodriguez and his grandparents, Manuel & Jenny Negrete, by purchasing a much-needed washing machine. Many thanks to Aspire Higher for bringing this family to us.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart” was the quote from a grandmother in Texas (in the photo with her two granddaughters that she is raising). It’s a Grand Life recently provided assistance when unexpected expenses arose.
It’s a Grand Life begins partnership with Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency, Pontiac, MI in September 2024 by donating $1,500 toward OLHSA’s work in supporting Grandfamilies. It’s a Grand Life and Celebrity Catering (Troy, MI) provided an OLHSA Grand Family, with a $400 gift certificate just prior to Thanksgiving in 2024. Pictured with Craig is Theresa Powers who is raising 2 grandchildren (granddaughter is pictured) and one great grandchild.
